US based startup developing long acting treatments invited to Global Citypreneur 2019 Challenge in Seoul, Korea
(September 12, 2019) – Recently, Citypreneur Urban Innovation Seoul announced the top companies invited to participate in the Seoul 2019 program. Hera Health Solutions was one of the two US based companies invited to take part in the Global Citypreneur Conference.
The companies were chosen based on criteria of Impact (SDGs & Urban) and Profitability (Business Model & Scalability). The 30 finalist nominees give each company a permanent membership with Citypreneurs, travel grant subsidies, tech transfer opportunities, access to joint R&D opportunities, enagagement with Citypreneur Community Fund, future invitations to UN conferences and events, and the opportunity to network with the other global finalists.
Citypreneur Seoul 2019’s themes, all structured around the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiative, were as follows:

a. Improve health and well-being for all, at all ages, and empower older persons to be economically and socially included in their city.

Citypreneurs brings together the global social entrepreneurship network, private and public investors, the tech sector, and government officials to provide a chance to connect, learn from, and be inspired by the shared purpose of creating positive impact for society and the environment. The initiatve aims to build a strong international start-up ecosystem and inter-sectoral collaboration through these networking opportunities.
